These are the guys (and they are mostly male) who write the headlines and they know Hanson makes better copy than Bartlett.

Interesting point you make about varied styles. Pictures are great and I think you have a definite talent there.Derek Barryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15581505641163336050noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17639100.post-34003275159639749752007-07-09T11:34:00.000+10:002007-07-09T11:34:00.000+10:00No worries at all, glad you liked it.I think your ...No worries at all, glad you liked it.

I think your detailed summary of the speech and my more 'tabloid' (in the sense that I use lots of video and pictures) approach work well together.

It's interesting that both our reports concentrated on the details of what happened, whereas the mainstream media report led with Senator Bartlett's comments about Pauline Hanson, pushing the details of the speech to the bottom half of the report.

I really like the fact that bloggers are at least on the same playing field as the mainstream media. It's not a level playing field of course, but at least we have a chance to get in the game.David Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01594699576390357505noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17639100.post-42784533538884635072007-07-08T23:40:00.000+10:002007-07-08T23:40:00.000+10:00Thanks David and some great photos there.
